Well let me tell you what happened the other day.
It was hot. Way to hot for me. Nordic bodies aren't built for immense heat. Except sauna. That is an controlled environment you can always step out off! But I was surviving in the hammock at my parents place (you see, the apartment is an oven during summer. Thank Thor it rains now) and I tried to draw what seemed like a very hot woman. I could have been smarter and done a cool guy instead but I was stuck in the heat mindset I suppose.
The pollen was also very cruel and hit me hard. Stupid pills never work when they should right? Acting like I had a cold in the middle of winter in the hottest part of summer. Lovely.
An awesome helicopter flew by, like this really cool designer helicopter. Me living out in nowhere it was really surprising. Kept the topic with my family for 5 minutes before we all continued dying in the heat. But that have nothing to do with the story, just wanted to point it out.
My cat had other plans though, first she found a frog. Lept after it. Straight into the pound. Clever girl, now soaked wet. I could add a dirty joke here but I know you all are already thinking of it. Actually the next day she jumped after a bird bathing in the pound.... and got soaked again. I think my cat really like being soaked. Queue dirty joke again.
As I was saying, the heat was horrible. My parent had a pool, but it's so cold your legs and arms start freezing off after a few minutes. Apparently the heat didn't bother to heat up the pool. Also why are you still reading this? Stop procrastinating and get working already with whatever you need to get done. Yes, that's the joke. I promise there is nothing to this story at all. Have I mentioned my bikini is also too small? Not a fun position when you neighbour just had to hire people to rebuild his roof that day. They might have laughed but I did the last laugh? I was in a cool pool, they on a hot roof and nope, the neighbour don't have a pool mwahahahaah!
When you think about the situation, I guess it was still pretty ok. I didn't get burned even thou I spend the whole day outside. I barely got a tan. Now thats an accomplishment if any! And I did finish some sketches but I think my eraser might have melted in the heat, it's overly soft and unusable now. Like a dough. And it have stayed that way, poor rubber.
But now, I shall enjoy the rain. Heavenly rain. Coolness of the gods. All hail Thor. (yes I know, he is the thunder god, but that comes with summer rain anyway during summer so close enough! )
